You will drive AI-powered transformation at Careem, building and deploying machine learning models to optimize user experiences, personalization, and operational efficiencies. You will work with top data science talent on cutting-edge GenAI applications, including retrieval-augmented generation systems.

Requirements

• 7-9 years experience in data mining, ML, big data, and data transformation
• Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (Physics, Statistics, Math, Engineering, CS)
• Solid experience with deep learning techniques (attention, retrieval models)
• 1-2 years industrial experience in personalization, recommendation or search
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Hive

Responsibilities

• Build long-term vision for customer acquisition and engagement strategies using data
• Drive exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and identify growth levers
• Implement scalable machine learning algorithms in production on big data
• Design and run randomized controlled experiments, analyze results
• Build and deploy retrieval augmented generation systems and LLM applications
