💼 About This Role

You'll join Black Duck Software as a hunter, driving net-new revenue for our Application Security platform. You'll engage senior engineering and security leaders at enterprise accounts and execute competitive displacement to grow our footprint.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Own full new-business sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Build territory plans targeting high-value enterprise prospects
  • Lead executive-level conversations on open-source governance
  • Partner with Sales Engineering for technical validation and PoCs

📋 Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of enterprise new-business sales in cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing complex enterprise deals
  • Strong understanding of Application Security and SCA
  • Ability to engage both technical and executive audiences

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience selling SCA or AppSec platforms (e.g., Snyk, Veracode)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD ecosystems (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Background selling into Fortune 500 or global enterprises
