Description

You will serve as the mechanical authority for integrating ruggedized electronics and mission-critical hardware into ground- and sea-mobile platforms for aerospace and defense applications, owning the end-to-end design from concept through sustainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 11+ years experience in platform-level mechanical design for aerospace/defense
• Strong proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) for large assemblies
• Expertise in mechanical interfaces, tolerancing, and interface control documents
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on mechanical integration of mission systems into ground- and sea-mobile platforms
• Architect and design mechanical structures, enclosures, and mechanisms subject to shock, vibration, and thermal constraints
• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and interface control documentation
• Lead system-level integration, qualification, and acceptance activities
• Serve as primary technical hardware interface with customers and partners
