Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mathematics strongly preferred; Master's or Ph.D. a plus
• 2+ years writing items for widely-used assessments required
• K–12 math teaching or tutoring experience
• Excellent writing ability and analytical-reasoning skills
• Highly self-motivated with superb attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Write and review clear, engaging assessment items for 6–12 math
• Review items for clarity, accuracy, and formatting
• Write achievement level descriptors and assessment documentation
• Collaborate with curriculum designers, psychometricians, and program managers
• Coordinate with contracted writers, editors, and designers
