💼 About This Role

You'll drive technical strategy for Modal's largest enterprise accounts, architecting migration solutions to serverless infrastructure. You'll partner with Account Executives to close 6-7 figure opportunities and influence product roadmap by surfacing structured enterprise feedback. This role operates as the executive technical counterpart to CTOs and VPs of Engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical strategy for large enterprise accounts
• Lead deep technical discovery across platform, ML, DevOps stakeholders
• Architect end-to-end migration strategies from AWS/GCP/Azure to Modal
• Design and oversee production-grade proof-of-concepts

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering or enterprise-facing infrastructure roles
• Experience driving enterprise sales cycles with $250K+ ACV
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong architectural understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Production Python programming experience
• Experience with ML/AI infrastructure (training pipelines, GPU workloads, MLOps)
• Executive-level communication skills
