Description

You will design and lay out the wiring interconnect system for the LaserWeeder, collaborating with mechanical and software peers to develop system layouts, block diagrams, BOMs, and schematics in CAD. You'll prototype, troubleshoot, and iterate designs, and provide manufacturing support to contract manufacturing partners, ensuring reliable and safe products for customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as Electrical Engineer designing wiring harness for large electrical systems
• Experience with Capital Harness design software required
• Experience with vehicle or automotive wiring harnesses
• Experience designing wiring systems for harsh outdoor environments with EMI
• BS+ in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Design electrical harnesses for power distribution, grounding, RF, communication, and high-speed data signal
• Quickly prototype, troubleshoot, and iterate designs for electrical wiring systems
• Design and integrate harness routing and support brackets, and write work instructions for hardware installation
• Support assembly and testing of cables and harnesses from development through post-sales support
• Deliver results through project planning, task management, and problem solving to iterate quickly
