💼 About This Role

You'll design, develop, and own mission critical software for Apex's autonomous satellite buses. Your work will enable reliable spacecraft operations 24/7, supporting earth observation and communications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement mission-critical satellite software applications.
• Support spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations.
• Own software solutions through full lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing and resolve defects.

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Person status required for export control compliance.
• 6+ years of total flight software experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust.
• Experience with real-time systems on distributed hardware.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of embedded Linux, Yocto, and system administration.
• Familiarity with satellite protocols like CCSDS and ECSS.
• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) and encryption.
