💼 About This Role

You'll lead cutting-edge language-based ML applications powering core features at Headspace. You'll own the vision, development, and deployment of conversational AI and recommendation systems. This role offers the chance to shape the ML platform and impact mental healthcare access.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of scalable AI models from inception to production
• Drive design and evolution of internal ML platform architecture
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in CS, Statistics, Math, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of ML engineering experience with Python
• 8+ years with vector search, embeddings, recommender systems, or deep learning
• 5+ years with NLP tools and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, spaCy)

✨ Nice to Have

• PhD in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience with clinical/healthcare ML applications
• Experience with AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM)
