💼 About This Role

You'll be Braintrust's first in-house legal hire, scaling the legal function from the ground up. You'll negotiate enterprise contracts and ensure compliance with data regulations while working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a scalable legal function at an AI observability platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs
• Lead legal support for enterprise sales transactions
• Develop contract playbooks and streamline deal processes
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• JD from accredited law school and CA bar membership
• 3-5 years of legal experience including 2 years in-house at SaaS company
• Extensive experience with enterprise software agreements
• Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
