💼 About This Role

You'll join Kilo Code, an open-source platform orchestrating AI coding agents, serving over 1.5M developers globally. You'll take full ownership of the JetBrains ecosystem area, building features for a product that processes 30T+ tokens monthly. This role offers 100% remote work within a fast-paced, high-autonomy team that releases 1-2 major features per week.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and ship features for the JetBrains extension end-to-end.
• Design solutions with AI coding agents and implement critical parts manually.
• Take full ownership of a product area, including performance and metrics.
• Interact directly with users, gather feedback, and iterate on shipped functionality.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience building JetBrains plugins (commercial or side project).
• Experience working with AI coding agents or AI-assisted development.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end product development.

• Experience with open-source projects.
• Familiarity with the JetBrains ecosystem beyond plugins.
