💼 About This Role

You'll assist in bringing the Terran R Recovery barge from concept layouts to detailed plans, then support construction and activation. You'll own the detailed layout and configuration of barge systems like thrusters, power distribution, and fire suppression. Work with cross-functional teams on vessel build, certification, and operational troubleshooting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and layout Terran R Recovery barge systems
• Support build, activation, and certification of vessel subsystems
• Safely perform system checkouts for power and dynamics systems
• Operate and troubleshoot vessel systems during flight campaigns

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in vessel layout, design, or construction
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Experience with FEA or equivalent analytical methods

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with hazardous systems (high-pressure, high-voltage, cryogenic)
• Knowledge of USCG, NASA, or regulatory standards
• Experience with dynamic positioning control systems
