You will drive technical innovation across Beacon's portfolio of software companies, collaborating with product, design, and leadership to solve high-impact problems. You'll design and execute large-scale modernization efforts, build AI-powered features, and directly influence revenue and product vision.

Requirements

• 5+ years full-stack/backend engineering experience in startup or high-growth environment
• Strong foundation in software engineering best practices
• Command of modern programming languages (Python, Go, TypeScript, Ruby)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps
• Familiarity with AI integration and LLMs

Responsibilities

• Deploy into portfolio companies to design and deliver high-impact technical initiatives
• Analyze codebases to identify value creation and technical debt reduction
• Refactor, modernize, and scale existing systems
