You'll join Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, as a Data Engineer specializing in Azure. You'll design and maintain ETL data engineering processes using Python (PySpark) and Azure Synapse Analytics. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects while collaborating with a dynamic, growing team across the Americas.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop ETL processes using PySpark within Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Design star schema data warehouses in Synapse SQL pools.
• Extract data from REST APIs, databases, and CSV files.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven ETL experience with Python (PySpark).
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, including Notebooks and Pipelines.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.

✨ Nice to Have

• Azure Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of big data technologies or machine learning.
