💼 About This Role

You'll be the site expert for control systems, sensors, PLCs, and automation at our Barleben facility near Magdeburg. You'll collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize conveyors, automation, and equipment uptime. This role stands out with hands-on work on Siemens and Rockwell systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems for high availability.
• Own automation, robotic, and control systems at the site.
• Perform active troubleshooting of PLCs, SCADA, cameras, and sensors.
• Train technicians in control system troubleshooting basics.
• Create documentation in CMMS and ticketing systems.

📋 Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar.
• 3-4 years experience with Siemens TIA, WinCC and Rockwell Studio 5000.
• Experience with Cognex cameras (DataMan).
• Good German and advanced English skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in material transport, flow control, SCADA, and MHE performance monitoring.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols: EtherNet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, ASI-Bus, MODBUS/TCP.
