Description

You will own engine subsystems for the Archimedes engine family on the Neutron rocket, driving design, testing, and data analysis to ensure operational readiness and flight success. Collaborate across teams to solve complex propulsion challenges and support flight operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 2+ years experience in rocket engine development, testing, or operations
• Strong technical understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and cryogenic systems
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to travel to test and launch facilities (~25%)

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, and fly next generation propulsion hardware
• Develop clear requirements and deliver validated designs meeting program milestones
• Execute engine test plans and conduct post-test data reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for robust integration and problem solving
• Support flight operations including engine acceptance and post-flight analysis
