💼 About This Role

You'll join the Product Security team at Staffbase, building security automation and pipelines for a global SaaS employee experience platform. You'll explore AI for vulnerability detection and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security early. This role offers hands-on experience with modern security practices and mentorship in a unicorn company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Take ownership of tasks improving security automation
• Explore use of AI for vulnerability detection and remediation
• Support the team by enhancing services with software engineering solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the product department

📋 Requirements

• Programming knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python
• Unix basics and Kubernetes infrastructure knowledge
• Practical knowledge of security topics (e.g., penetration testing, SAST, DAST)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code via Terraform and Kustomize

✨ Nice to Have

• Strong communication skills in English
• German is a plus
