💼 About This Role

You'll lead the FPGA architecture and DSP implementation for next-generation LEO PNT satellite systems at Xona. Your work will directly impact centimeter-level positioning precision and robust signal processing from concept through flight-ready hardware. This role offers the opportunity to own the entire FPGA pipeline for a revolutionary satellite navigation constellation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and specify FPGA architecture for high-dynamic signal processing pipelines
• Lead fixed-point design, resource budgeting, and pipeline optimization
• Establish RTL best practices and guide junior engineers through design cycles
• Define HW/SW partitioning and ensure seamless integration with software teams

📋 Requirements

• PhD or MS/BS in EE/CE with 7+ years FPGA and DSP implementation experience
• Demonstrated ownership of complex FPGA signal-processing systems from architecture to hardware validation
• Deep expertise in fixed-point DSP implementation, pipelining, and resource optimization
• Expert proficiency with FPGA toolchains, static timing analysis, and on-chip debugging

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with satellite communications, especially GNSS receivers and spread-spectrum systems
• Familiarity with processing satellite-related measurements like code/carrier/Doppler/CN0
• Experience supporting HIL and over-the-air validation environments
