💼 About This Role

You'll build and own the Financial Subledger Data Platform using dbt and Snowflake, transforming operational events into trusted accounting-ready outputs. You'll drive production operational ownership, embed AI-assisted reconciliation, and coach one Analytics Engineer. This senior hands-on role offers high autonomy and cross-functional partnership with Accounting and Engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and own dbt models for the financial subledger platform.
• Implement data quality controls and automated reconciliations.
• Embed AI-assisted reconciliation capabilities into the platform.
• Partner with Accounting to translate requirements into model specifications.
• Drive production operational ownership including monitoring and incident response.

📋 Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience building and maintaining production dbt projects.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for canonical datasets.
• Experience operating data pipelines in Snowflake with performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred) for data tooling and automation.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with accounting concepts (subledgers, journal entries, balance rollforwards).
• Experience designing SOX-friendly controls from data pipelines.
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to data quality or reconciliation workflows.
