💼 About This Role

You'll create wiring diagrams and harness documentation for an all-electric aircraft using Mentor Graphics Capital. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to define system architecture and wiring connections, ensuring EMI mitigation and compliance with aerospace standards.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create wiring diagrams and wire harness drawings using Mentor Graphics Capital
• Design wire harnesses following aerospace standards (AC 43.13-1B, AS50881)
• Select optimal electrical components for specific applications
• Troubleshoot and test wiring during aircraft bring-up and operation

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in aircraft wiring engineering and design
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital, HarnessXC and Logic
• Hands-on experience in fabricating and inspecting wire harnesses

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of EWIS concepts and certification with FAA AC 25.1701
• Experience in Mentor Graphics Custom plugin development and report generation
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Topology and HarnessXC Bridging
