Description

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years in equipment engineering or automation with 2+ years in project leadership or management
- Experience with automation in high-volume manufacturing (semiconductor, automotive, or aerospace)
- Proficiency in automation technologies: robotics, motion control, and CAD software
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends; travel up to 20%
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of multi-disciplinary engineers in design, procurement, and optimization of solar cell manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with production, process engineering, and supply chain to improve yield and reduce downtime
- Oversee full lifecycle of equipment projects including budgeting and vendor management
- Implement data-driven improvements using PLC, SCADA, and IoT for predictive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and SpaceX safety protocols
