Description

In this player-coach role, you will architect and implement backend services integrating provider networks, care navigator operations, and clinical workflows. You'll write production code, lead by example, and design systems for reliability at scale while mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in CS or equivalent, 8+ years backend experience
• Strong expertise in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, PostgreSQL
• Proven ability to design fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, HIPAA, SOC-II
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement backend services interfacing with Postgres and Databricks
• Design data adapters integrating with external facilities, payers, TPAs using FHIR/HL7, DICOM
• Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, enforce best practices
• Design systems for reliability, fault-tolerance, and graceful degradation
• Mentor backend and full-stack engineers while spending majority of time coding
