Description

You will support in-house measurement processes and defect root cause analysis by managing equipment, licenses, and procurement for the Component Center. You'll maintain equipment, coordinate with safety and engineering on building readiness, develop purchase requisitions, and work with suppliers to ensure capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations planning
  • 3+ years of experience evaluating part geometry using gages and fixtures
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of calibration experience in an automotive production environment
  • Knowledgeable with vehicle launch phased processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Component Center equipment, machine maintenance and spare parts
  • Serve as first point of contact for machine issues
  • Establish and maintain documented calibration plan with equipment suppliers
  • Work with Finance to develop purchase order requisitions and manage departmental budget
  • Procure equipment and fixtures, manage activities and define strategy for new vehicle projects
