Description

You will be a senior technical leader driving complex partner and merchant integrations for Afterpay, working directly with Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams to understand customer needs, showcase APIs, and solve challenging technical problems to accelerate adoption.

Requirements

• 8+ years technical customer-facing roles (partner engineering, solutions architecture, sales engineering)
• Deep hands-on technical expertise with APIs and debugging integrations
• Professional experience with full-stack development and proficiency in at least one programming language
• Strong communication skills bridging technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding of payments, fintech, or commerce platforms

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Partnerships to support developer integrations
• Design and deliver technical solutions including proof-of-concepts, custom reports, and sample integrations
• Act as technical advisor translating business requirements into scalable integration approaches
• Collaborate with product and engineering to surface customer feedback and influence roadmap
• Create and deliver compelling demos, presentations, and technical deep dives for executive and engineering stakeholders
