Description

You will support the sales and service teams with deep technical knowledge of commercial HVAC controls including airflow and water flow metering, VFDs, and lab controls. You'll assist with system design, product demos, commissioning, troubleshooting, and act as a liaison between product management and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC controls or related technologies
• Working knowledge of airflow and water flow metering, VFDs, and lab controls
• Familiarity with building automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Tridium) and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON)
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
• Ability to travel regionally and occasionally overnight

Responsibilities

• Support sales team with technical knowledge of HVAC controls
• Participate in system design discussions, submittal preparation, and specification reviews
• Assist in solution sizing and equipment selection
• Deliver product demos, training, and presentations
• Provide advanced technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Guide customers through integration and configuration within BAS platforms
• Document recurring field issues and collaborate with engineering
• Act as cross-functional liaison between product management, engineering, and sales
• Stay current on HVAC control standards and energy code compliance
• Collect customer feedback and market insights
• Assist in product testing, pilot deployments, and field validation
