💼 About This Role

You'll support new product introduction and sustaining activities for connected smart home security products. You'll work with third-party labs in the US and Asia to ensure timely compliance certification. This role coordinates issue resolution and assesses compliance impact of design changes for a high-tech home security company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support product compliance activities across new product introduction and sustaining programs
• Review and approve pre-certification and certification plans with internal teams and external labs
• Coordinate issue resolution for timely product certifications and report issuance
• Maintain compliance records and technical documentation in PLM systems

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in consumer product compliance
• Hands-on experience with third-party laboratories and certification bodies
• Working knowledge of product safety, RF, EMC, wireless, battery, and environmental compliance processes

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with smart home wireless devices
• Experience supporting sustaining compliance or recertification planning
• Experience working with Asia-based suppliers and test laboratories
