Description
You will develop test and automation software for Starlink satellite components, working on integrated operations and automation for complex subassemblies. This includes writing Python-based automation, interacting with flight hardware, and building innovative test systems that enable rapid development and accurate testing of Starlink software and hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline; OR 2+ years of software development experience
- Development experience in C, C++, or Python
- Experience troubleshooting software/hardware interactions
- Experience with configuration management, version control, CI, and agile development
- Knowledge of digital/analog interfaces including GPIB, USB, TCP/IP, CAN bus, SPI, I2C
Responsibilities
- Develop modular, reusable test and automation software in Python
- Write automation software to interact with flight hardware, test equipment, and production documentation systems
- Develop software for test execution across hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized hardware simulations
- Develop custom automation solutions using embedded electronics and hardware
- Develop algorithms to analyze complex test data for acceptance criteria
