💼 About This Role

You'll improve marketplace dynamics by working on end-to-end ML solutions for search and recommendations at a leading classifieds platform. You'll own the full product lifecycle from data gathering to deployment, collaborating with product teams to drive user engagement. This role offers the chance to work on internal research projects and explore new technologies in a scale-up environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources
• Develop and implement machine learning models for search and recommendations
• Own initiatives from ideation to deployment and iteration
• Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences

📋 Requirements

• Experience working with search and recommendation ranking models in production
• Degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Math, Stats, Physics) or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Python for ML applications
• Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience within an eCommerce or marketplace platform
• Experience with AWS cloud and MLOps tools like MLFlow, Flyte, Feast
• Experience working in Logistics, Trust & Safety, or Customer Service domains
