Description

You will lead a team of EHS Engineers and Specialists, managing day-to-day activities, hiring, and budget, while ensuring compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with department leadership to proactively meet regulatory requirements and inspect facilities for hazard correction.

Requirements

• Experience in environmental health and safety engineering
• Leadership experience managing EHS teams
• Knowledge of occupational safety and environmental regulations
• Ability to collaborate with department leadership
• Experience with hazard identification and compliance inspections

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of EHS team
• Provide input on hiring, termination, and performance for direct reports
• Review and approve Purchase Orders; manage operational budget
• Implement and maintain regulatory and site-specific safety and environmental policies
• Inspect processes, machinery, and safety equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance
