You'll play a critical role in assembling and testing Falcon 9 launch vehicles at SpaceX's Vandenberg site. You'll execute complex work instructions to ensure high-quality flight hardware while collaborating with engineers to improve operational processes. This night shift position offers the chance to work on world-class rocket launch operations.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Assemble flight hardware per technical work instructions
  • Use mechanical tools and heavy machinery for assembly
  • Troubleshoot and install fluid/electromechanical components from schematics
  • Support coordinated launch vehicle movements and ground operations

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, production, manufacturing, oil and gas, or a certificate from an accredited trade program
  • Ability to pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base
  • Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and weekends

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Associate degree in aerospace technology or equivalent
  • Experience with connector repair (D-SUB, BNC, TNC, N-TYPE, SMA, 8P8C)
