Description

You will design, analyze, and validate mechanical systems and actuators for Starship and Super Heavy vehicles, focusing on rapid reusability and reliability. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback into designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years experience analyzing, designing, building, or testing mechanical systems
• Experience with CAD software (NX, CATIA, Solidworks, etc.)
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Able to lift 25 lbs, work at heights up to 300 feet

Responsibilities

• Drive design and development of mechanical systems across vehicles
• Partner with peer design owners (avionics, power systems, structures) for integrated systems
• Conduct design reviews with stakeholders
• Manage on-site integration teams and implement feedback
• Diagnose and operate vehicle mechanisms during ground testing and flight
