Description

You will provide home health visits as a Speech Language Pathologist, performing evaluations and therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to help clients remain safely at home.

Requirements

• Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland
• Certificate of clinical competence in speech from ASHA or equivalent educational/work experience
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Develop treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and recommended goals
• Educate and instruct patients and family members in rehabilitative care and activities
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet
