💼 About This Role

You'll be an architect and caretaker of our Perception codebase, building robust production services for ML models that control our fleet of welding robots. You'll enable research teams to turn ideas into production-grade solutions by creating a scalable and developer-friendly foundation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Wrap perception ML models into reliable production services
• Build gRPC/Protobuf service interfaces with schema versioning
• Own deployment infrastructure, containerization, and GPU management
• Build observability pipelines for fleet-wide perception failures
• Design data pipelines closing the active-learning loop

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building production backend systems in Python
• Deep experience with gRPC/Protobuf services in production
• Hands-on with containerized deployment and Linux
• Experience building developer tools or platforms for ML teams

✨ Nice to Have

• C++ experience
• Comfortable with ML and computer vision workflows
• Experience with CUDA/PyTorch environment management
