Description

You will oversee on-site inspection of mechanical/electrical systems for a complex fire life safety project in Riyadh, ensuring compliance with NFPA, SBC, and GDCD codes. You'll review contractor documentation, conduct site inspections, and support testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred
• 4+ years Middle East project experience in design review, construction supervision, fire protection installations
• Proven experience in FLS calculations and reporting
• Certification preferred on NFPA 13, 20, 72, 2001
• Proven site experience with fire protection, suppression, alarm systems, and ventilation

Responsibilities

• Review Contractor’s Fire Life Safety (FLS) packages based on NFPA, SBC, and GDCD codes
• Conduct comprehensive technical review of FLS documentation including shop drawings, submittals, and method statements
• Conduct Building Code Analysis and Gap Analysis
• Conduct frequent site inspections for passive/active fire systems with data collection and reporting
• Review and approve Contractor’s emergency response procedures and Fire Risk Assessments
