💼 About This Role

You'll work on Jade, our open-source hardware wallet, writing robust C/Python firmware. You'll implement advanced signing protocols like taproot and atomic swaps. Your work will be visible to the entire Bitcoin community.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write robust, secure C/Python code for Jade firmware
• Extend and optimize support for taproot, atomic swaps, simplicity
• Design air-gapped camera signing and secure communication protocols
• Develop optimized solutions for resource-constrained environment

📋 Requirements

• C/C++ development for microcontrollers with esp32/esp32s experience
• Solid understanding of Bitcoin internals (Taproot, SegWit, PSBTs)
• Experience with secure boot, memory protection, side-channel attack defense
• Comfortable with peripherals and low-level protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous teamwork and remote collaboration experience
• Familiarity with Python for tooling and testing
• Up-to-date knowledge of Bitcoin latest developments
