💼 About This Role

You'll oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and client relationships for mission-driven organizations. You'll provide guidance to junior team members and assist the CFO in review and training. This hybrid role offers three days in-office with remote-first flexibility and a supportive team environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and troubleshoot monthly bank reconciliations
• Perform month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements
• Prepare budget-to-actual variance reports for assigned clients
• Assist client teams with cash flow issues and onboarding

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• At least 3 years of experience preparing financial statements (full close)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of accrual accounting principles

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in accounting
• CPA license or eligibility
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar nonprofit accounting systems
