Description
You will drive top-line revenue growth by expanding Skillsoft's Instructor Led Classroom training business within existing educational accounts. Responsibilities include selling open enrollment, subscriptions, and prepays; building pipeline through outbound prospecting; navigating complex organizations; and collaborating with Customer Success to ensure post-sale satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years successful sales experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience with solution-based selling and exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers
- IT/Business Training industry knowledge preferred; familiarity with University/College sales a plus
- Tenacity in building new business relationships and securing customer loyalty
Responsibilities
- Sell and close business for all products including Open Enrollment, Subscriptions, and Prepays
- Achieve targeted new pipeline, sales activity, and quota goals monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Establish and grow presence within assigned accounts or region using CRM, Sales Intel, LinkedIn, etc.
- Determine customer business drivers, objectives, and budget requirements
- Build personal relationships with key decision makers and ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success Manager
