Description

Support the bring-up and production of Starshield satellites by designing tooling, processes, and test software. Contribute to daily production activities, troubleshooting issues, and executing qualification tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or technical discipline; or HS diploma + 2+ years experience in hands-on technician role
• 1+ years experience performing electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices
• Ability to read electro-mechanical schematics and troubleshoot interconnected systems
• Experience with test instrumentation sensors (strain gages, thermocouples, etc.)
• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends; able to lift 25 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures on development and flight hardware
• Perform tests with engineers according to test procedures and automated test scripts, providing data and preliminary results
• Assist in design and fabrication of hardware including harnessing, test fixtures, and server racks
• Troubleshoot and write rework instructions for failing hardware in HITL and factory environments
• Support satellite qualification testing and develop test automation software (Python)
