Description

You will produce high-quality technical documents, reports, and publications to support academic and instructional programs at the Naval Postgraduate School. Collaborate with faculty and subject-matter experts to translate complex information into clear, accessible content while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years in technical writing, proofreading, editing, publication, review, and QA
• BA/BS in communications, journalism, English, or related discipline
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in technical or scientific writing

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, proofread, and review technical and academic documents
• Prepare publications, reports, white papers, fact sheets, and other written materials
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to QA standards
• Support development of multimedia content, web features, press releases, and newsletter articles
• Collaborate with faculty and SMEs to gather information and translate into accessible content
