💼 About This Role

You'll lead the structural configuration of next-generation UAS and drive trade studies for material selection and load paths. You'll translate concept-level designs into FEM models to influence multidisciplinary vehicle decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead structural configuration for UAS concepts including load paths and material selection
• Translate vehicle definitions into FEM models with mesh generation and sizing
• Drive trade studies on structural mass, manufacturability, and material alternatives
• Mentor junior analysts and present structural metrics in design reviews

📋 Requirements

• 5-10+ years of structural design/analysis in aerospace
• Demonstrated ability to lead structural configuration in early design phases
• Experience building global FEM models for aircraft
• Knowledge of structural mechanics fundamentals

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency with FEMAP and NASTRAN
• Experience with developed UAS platforms from conceptual level
• Experience in startup environments
