Description

You will lead revenue accounting at MongoDB, determining proper ASC 606 treatment for new products, analyzing complex transactions, and refining policies. You'll manage a small team, participate in monthly close, and partner cross-functionally to support a high-growth software company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/CA preferred
• 9+ years experience in similar role at public, high-growth SaaS or technology company
• Deep expertise in ASC 606
• Experience hiring, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams
• Proficiency in MS Excel, NetSuite, and Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on revenue accounting under ASC 606
• Lead quarterly reviews and year-end audits with external auditors
• Manage month-end close activities including revenue analyses, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Manage and mentor a small team of Revenue Analysts
• Analyze sales transactions in ERP systems to ensure data accuracy and revenue integrity
