💼 About This Role

You'll design, operate, and scale storage infrastructure for the dbt Cloud platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You'll drive projects that refine and scale our storage platform ensuring performance and reliability. Collaborate across teams to solve real infrastructure challenges and shape multi-cloud dbt Cloud.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, operate, and scale storage systems across multiple tenancy models
• Deepen expertise in databases, search, caching, queuing, and streaming
• Partner with Architecture, Release Engineering, Network, and Security teams
• Participate in a balanced on-call rotation to improve reliability

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience designing and operating relational data and object storage platforms in production
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and declarative IaC (Terraform)
• Programming/scripting ability in Python, Go, Rust or Bash

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or running multi-tenant storage platforms at scale
• Deep expertise in two or more of: PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience operating infrastructure across multiple clouds
