💼 About This Role

You'll lead the strategy, design, and delivery of our next-generation data and AI platforms at PDI Technologies, empowering convenience retail and petroleum brands. You'll own the vision for scalable data infrastructure and AI-powered products, championing the AI Development Life Cycle across teams. This role offers a chance to build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while staying deeply technical.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define the multi-year roadmap for Data, ML, and AI engineering
• Champion adoption of the AI Development Life Cycle (AIDLC)
• Architect scalable data platforms (batch, streaming, lakehouse)
• Build and mentor engineering teams across data and AI domains

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 7+ years in engineering leadership roles managing managers
• Deep experience with petabyte-scale data platforms (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Hands-on experience designing AI/ML solutions including GenAI (RAG, fine-tuning)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building developer platforms or internal AI copilots
• Open source contributions in data or ML ecosystem
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
