You'll oversee all accounting, reporting, auditing, and payroll activities at SFMOMA, a leading modern art museum. You'll drive process improvements and ensure flawless audits while collaborating with program leaders to support operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Manage year-end financial close and GAAP financial statements
• Serve as audit liaison and prepare audit schedules
• Supervise accounting and payroll team members

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting
• 10+ years of professional accounting experience
• 3 years managerial experience in a Controller role
• Non-profit accounting experience required

• MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience with ERISA compliance and audits
