💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting for a growing AI company, preparing for its first external audit and public market entry. You'll work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and guide complex accounting topics. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the trajectory of a company in the AI industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation, including revenue recognition.
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Manage external audit process, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Build scalable workflows, controls, and reporting for public-company operations.

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA with Big 4 or national firm background.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles and practices.
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch.
