💼 About This Role

You'll lead Welltech's global IP portfolio and provide legal support for AI-driven product initiatives across a fast-growing wellness app ecosystem. You'll protect intellectual property assets, manage infringement risk, and ensure AI features are built on sound legal foundations. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of technology law, product innovation, and regulatory change.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent portfolio registration and enforcement
• Conduct IP clearance reviews for product features, creative assets, and marketing campaigns
• Lead legal reviews for AI-powered features including personalization and recommendation algorithms
• Advise on EU AI Act compliance, data minimization, and algorithmic transparency obligations

📋 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years post-qualification experience in IP and/or technology law
• Deep working knowledge of EU and US IP frameworks (trademark, copyright, trade secrets)
• Demonstrable experience advising on AI-related legal issues (EU AI Act, algorithmic transparency)
• Track record of managing IP disputes and litigation risk, including C&D response strategy

• Experience in a digital consumer product company, especially app-based or health/wellness
