💼 About This Role

You'll own the validation of flight hardware from first build through system level testing for a spacecraft manufacturer. You'll define structural test strategy, build infrastructure, and execute campaigns to prove spacecraft in real environments. Your work will enable commercial satellite bus manufacturing at scale for earth observation and communications missions.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Own structural test strategy and execution across components and subsystems
  • Develop and operate fluid, hydraulic, and pressurized test systems
  • Design and integrate data acquisition and instrumentation
  • Write and automate test procedures and scripts in Python
  • Lead test operations end-to-end, including setup and post-test review

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 3+ years in spacecraft or launch vehicle structural testing
  • Background designing large-scale structural test stands
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation and lab equipment
  • Experience with test automation and scripting in Python

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, shock)
  • Familiarity with NX/Teamcenter, Nastran, or ANSYS
  • Experience with high-pressure or cryogenic systems
