💼 About This Role

You'll join a team maintaining a large-scale VMware platform, building tools for managing a globally distributed virtualization environment. You'll contribute to the provisioning system and APIs that enable system administrators and developers to manage virtual machine configurations. Open-source tools and internal development are core to this role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain and enhance a large-scale VMware-based platform.
• Develop solutions for managing a geographically distributed virtualization environment.
• Contribute to the provisioning system and supporting tooling.
• Build APIs and CLI for system administrators and developers.

📋 Requirements

• Python and Perl programming skills.
• Experience with large (10k+ lines) collaboratively developed modular projects.
• Knowledge of SQL and database programming.
• Expert knowledge of Linux and UNIX system calls.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a large multi-national enterprise.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale production IaaS platforms with VMware.
• Knowledge of Erlang or Prolog.
