💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the primary in-house advisor on regulatory compliance, privacy, and product initiatives at Greenlight, the leading family fintech company. You'll own complex regulatory matters independently, partner with Product and Compliance to embed compliance into new products, and manage outside counsel efficiently.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on financial services regulations including Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP, and GLBA.
• Support bank partner relationships on regulatory compliance matters.
• Partner with Product and Business Development on regulatory feasibility of new initiatives.
• Own Terms of Service updates and cardholder agreement revisions for product launches.
• Serve as in-house privacy counsel, managing data subject requests and vendor DPAs.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from accredited U.S. law school and active bar license.
• 5–8 years legal experience in fintech, consumer finance, or regulated financial services.
• Hands-on experience with financial services regulation (Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP, GLBA).
• Privacy experience including COPPA, CCPA/state privacy laws, and data processing agreements.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working with bank partners or program manager structure.
• Hardware, IoT, or consumer product legal experience.
• Familiarity with legal operations tools (Ironclad or similar).
