Description

You will oversee daily lab operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines, and collaborate with management to meet quality and production goals. Your role is to coach, train, and evaluate team members while maintaining morale and adherence to procedures.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology or related field (chemical, physical, biological sciences)
• 4-5 years CLIA laboratory experience
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day staffing, scheduling, and sample run planning
• Monitor adherence to SOPs and safety procedures
• Oversee new hire training and competency
• Handle nonconformance reports and corrective actions (CAPAs)
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee issues
