💼 About This Role

You'll lead Spreetail's global tax function, optimizing domestic and international tax strategy to reduce cash outflow and support expansion. You'll partner with executive leadership as the internal tax authority, managing external advisors and building scalable processes for public-company readiness. This role offers full autonomy to shape the tax function at a fast-growing e-commerce company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own global tax compliance across US federal, multi-state, and VAT
• Design tax planning strategies to reduce cash tax outflow
• Advise CFO and executive leadership on transactions and structuring
• Manage external advisors and build scalable tax processes

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or industry
• CPA or equivalent professional designation
• Strong technical foundation in US federal, multi-state, and indirect tax
• Experience with tax planning, cross-border structuring, and ASC 740
